Creative Solutions / Conceptualization
Often, a client has a direction that they would like to
see their project head, however they do not know how to
get it there. Or the client has existing material, and needs
it modified or expanded on and would like to look at options.
This is where Akeson Design comes in. Let us look at the
issues involved, and help find a 'means' to a successful
end product. This could be anything from working from a
blank piece of paper, where the project is wide open and
does not yet have a direction or 'look', to finding alternative
solutions to complete a project with a restricted budget.
Art Direction / Photo Direction
Once a project has begun, the majority of the time, the
projects are completely developed in-house. However, depending
on the project, there are times when the project requires
other outside professionals to assist us, including photography,
copywriting, illustrations, special web-site scripting,
or production of your project to assure utmost quality and
timing of completion. As Art Director, we plan the process
and work with all parties involved to ensure work is done
within time restraints, in budget, and the same common direction
/ theme of the project.
Graphic Design / Production
Whether your project is to be printed, or placed on the
internet, good graphic design is an essential part to it's
success. At Akeson Design, we have the exceptional talent,
and established experience needed to fulfill this area of
expertise. Hand-in-hand with the design aspect of a project,
is having exceptional production skills, capable of bringing
the design to it's successful fruition. Akeson Design has
the technical know-how, the artistic creativeness, the experience,
and the professional resources required to start, and complete
any size project.
Print and Internet
At completion, your project will be printed in some manner,
or is produced for viewing on the internet, or both. Eric
Akeson, owner of Akeson Design has been in the graphic design
industry since the early eighties, and has owned Akeson
Design since 1990. This type of background has afforded
us with many different forms of printed projects, giving
us an advantage of knowing all those little unwritten rules
of the do's and don'ts regarding layout, colors, graphics,
typography, etc. when producing materials for print. Even
though many of the guidelines are different for internet
publishing, there are just as many visualization, color,
navigational, and image processing guidelines to be considered.
This is where we can help you the most.
Press Check
When the time come to print your project, you can count on
us to do your press checking if applicable. This is taking
the project to it's final procedure of printing the piece,
and supervising the process, checking everything from registration
alignment to color correctness. We do however always suggest
a reputable printing facility to ensure best results.
